The Aeschylus is now available on NetGalley! If you’re not familiar with the site (I wasn’t last year), NetGalley is basically a place where professional reviewers, bloggers, librarians, and distributors can request copies of new books to evaluate and review. If you happen to be one of those great folks and you haven’t read The Aeschylus yet, head on over and request one here.
Reviews so far have been extremely positive, and I have to say that’s a big relief. The Aeschylus is going strong on Amazon and GoodReads, but an occasional 2 or 3 star review pops up, and that’s always a little discouraging. I know that’s unavoidable, but it’s impossible not to second guess yourself and your work a million ways to Sunday whenever it happens. At the very least, all the reviews still have me thinking about The Aeschylus characters and what I want to do if and when I ever write another book in the same universe. So many ideas! They’ll have to wait, though, at least for now. There are a few more large stories that I need to get out first.
Speaking of other stories, I have a particularly nasty piece of short fiction coming out in just a couple of weeks. It’s one of the shorter pieces I’ve written, but it’s really twisted. Really grimy. Can’t wait to share it.
More on that soon.
